I am the mother of Zach Jackson. Zach was 18 when him and his two friends were ran off the road by a drunk driver. Zach took the worst of the three young men. they were not drinking. Zach now suffers with a brain injury and is 21 and living in a nursing home. We raise money to help with out of pocket treatments and supplements, private room and everything insurance will not pay for.

Zach loved canoeing and kayaking. One day he will return to the river.

I've been paddling since high school which is more than 30 years. Bought my first canoe, a Mad River Courier, in 1989. That's the boat in the picture. Still have it. Now also have a Wilderness Systems kayak.

I am a student In business Administration and devoted christian. Love to play guitar and piano.

In my spare time, I try to make a few cents online here and there. My couple hobby site are free laptop, acai optimum and muscle max xl pages.

As probably most people do, I pend soem time on social media sites like facebook and twitter, but not a lot though.

I hope to make some friends here too. By the way, I am single:)

We live in Northwest Arkansas and are planning to have our Family Reunion at rental cabins on the river there at Broken Bow this July. We will have family there from all over Texas, California, Colorado and Georgia as well as us from Arkansas. Once before, we had the reunion there and everyone really enjoyed it and wanted to return but, due to relatives with illnesses and unable to travel, we have had to have it in Texas the last couple of years.

The previous time, some of the cousins who knew the river took us on a canoe trip starting from up below the Dam and down through the rocks - horror. Never again.

We are interested in a float trip but in much calmer water.

The Reunion is scheduled for the 3rd week in July, ending on Sat. the 21st . Last time there were either 10 or 12 of us and could very likely be that many or more this time.

Also, since our cabins are on the river we might be interested in renting 2 or 3 kayaks to play with there at the cabins if you have any available.

If you could let us know what you have available we would appreciate it.

I worked here for 5 seasons at Riverside Canoe Rentals.

I thru canoes from 1995 till 2000 when I got hurt goin over 3 sets of falls with my left wrist tangled up to my right leg tied behind my back with 50 feet of yellow nylon rope as I was trying to save a canoe as well as a woman clientthat had my life jacket cuz hers was tied to the nosecone of her canoe.

A lady friend and her friend thru me an lifeline and pulled me out and untied me.

They were camping as they did every summer at the falls.

Wish I could remember her name to Thank her.

Cracked 4 ribs and was done for the season.....Came back home to my family.
